Bhavana has born in 6 June, 1986, Thrissur, Kerala, India. Her real name Karthika Menon but better known as a Bhavana. Bhavana is a sensational young south Indian actress who was born in Kerala on 6th June 1986. Her father is Balachandran and mother Pushpa. She has got a brother named Jayadev. She is a Indian actress who acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu language film. Bhavana is a very popular cute South Indian film actress. She acted in malayalam, telugu and tamil films sofar. Bhavana entered into film industry with the movie Nammal which was a big success and got her so much fame and honours.

Her first signed Tamil movie ‘Koodal nagar’ came out his year and she also appeared with Madhavan in his movie ‘Arya’. And her yet another movie with Madhavan is all set to be released towards the end of this year. Recently she turned down a movie offer to act against Simbu saying that she don’t want to be associated with him because of the kind of tainted image he is having now in the industry.

Sources say that she also refused to act with Tamil controversial young actor Simbu as his image now a days is tarnishing.

"My career is my only priority right now. If you hear any talks about my engagement or marriage, you can rest assured that they are just gossip. Eventually, when I go get married, I intend to continue acting for a number of years even after marriage. I’m going to look for a man who would let me pursue my film career," Bhavana reveals.
